We had a UK based client that wanted to recruit staff for a new German office. This meant I needed someone who could make a few phone calls on an ad hoc basis and translate job advertisements and CVs. It's great to have Heike who is very proficient and experienced in her field to fall back on as and when I need her. . Luckily, our british friend Susan knew Heike and so she organized this trip for us. So we stayed with her and she explained us a lot of special British things. She took us to London and showed us the city. But we didn't only experience the English culture, Heike also know a lot about Asian countries like India or China. We went to Chinatown in London and to Little India in Leicester. So we learned a lot about other cultures and we could try our English knowledge. We were really lucky with Heike because everytime we didn't know a word she could explain it to us in German and she also took care of us so we weren't all alone in a foreign country. It was amazing how much she knew about British history, politics and everyday life. So we had a fantastic and exciting journey and we spent a wonderful time with Heke.
